Society Truth and Art

In many cases, visual art through painted canvas serve as medium for influential people to expose the truth and make society realise the lies they have been living with for a long time. History is full of accounts about countries liberating themselves and achieving freedom from foreigners that have been conquering or enslaving them for the long time. In many cases, since freedom of expression was suppressed by their oppressors, people use symbols, literature, theatre arts as well as visual arts through paintings to convey their message. Without the arts, who knows how many countries are still being oppressed by other countries of great power today?
